We purchased this for a trip to Disney World in FLA. Drove from Tennessee with six people in an SUV. We needed this extra space for the luggage. We were able to place a large suitcase and two roll on bags into the carrier and on the return trip, we were able to also put in a large bag of dirty clothes. I was very happy with the capacity. At first we were hearing a buzzing sound as we were traveling at highway speeds. At our first rest stop I checked the tie down straps and found one a bit loose, compared to the others, and pulled it tighter. We didn't have the buzzing anymore. Overall this carrier worked very well and is well priced for what you get. It was stable going and returning, never came loose or shifted. We are very happy with the purchase and have stored it in our garage for the next trip like this.
