I bought this kettle in January 2014 and have been using it every day since. I use this kettle at least once a day to heat water for tea. The kettle has been heavily used in the last year and is still in excellent visual and functional condition BENEFITS: • The kettle boils water very quickly • Neutral water taste, no plastic or metal taste like other products • Auto shut off • Compact and portable • STAINLESS STEEL (I can't stress enough how important it is to get a stainless steel kettle instead of a plastic kettle!) CONS: • The only real downside is the 3 pin plug. I live in an old apartment and need to use an adapter to make this dual socket kettle work. Price.
