I was spooked the first few times but being stuck with two bottles I have to keep using them anyway. //. This was the first time I've used witch hazel. I always hear about it in toners and for oily skin, but sometimes also for dry and sensitive skin. Testing witch hazel on my still healing cartilage piercing was a bad idea. I'm guessing the drying effect made my ears very oily? and then responded to my healing piercing to produce more fluid than normal because it was drying it out a lot. , there would be a slight burn. I don't know if it's sea salt or witch hazel, but it irritates my piercing too much for me to use as directed. So far I've only used it once a week with that hydrochloride spray I was given and so far this routine is working for me.
