I don't know why but I was expecting something less valuable at this price point. So I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the material used for the stand. Of course, you trust this stand with expensive equipment, so you have to be sure that it works reliably. I have no doubts that this stand will do the trick. The device comes pre-installed, you just need to customize the grip for your device. The base has a grippy, non-slip material that's also said to prevent scratches on the surface. I've seen in other reviews that adjusting each side of the handle can be tricky as the screws are on the bottom. Although I agree with something, it is not an obstacle for me at all. If you're particularly like me, you'll want your device to be perfectly vertical and centered in the mount, but loose enough to slide in and out easily. in capture worked fine for me. After perfecting it, I tightened the screws for the final adjustment. In general very satisfied. I have a few devices that can be used on a stand, but currently the main one is the Pixel Slate with the Brydge keyboard, and it fits perfectly right over the narrowest setting.
