It's a bit tricky to get the hard plastic pieces together so I watched the Revain video 2-3 times to make sure I got it installed it correctly. It slides on the back of the rear view mirror but doesn't fit my old 2015 SUV. But then I discovered two spring loaded tensioners on each side of the back. Pulling down each stretcher on each side gave it just enough extra length to fit it perfectly. It works great to hold my phone in the perfect spot to look in the rearview mirror and at the phone at almost exactly the same time. The only downside for me is that the front mount holds my phone too tight. I've never figured out how to unlock the phone without flipping the rear view mirror from its correct driving position. PS I found the answer to easily connect and disconnect the phone. The phone has 4 curved plastic brackets on the front and two plastic latches with spring clips. While holding the phone in one hand, use the other hand to push the two middle straight guides toward the center of the holder. Release both sliders at the same time while holding the phone. The phone is held tight. When removed, the phone shrinks to the middle of the holder and the phone can be quickly and easily released in the other hand.
