I bought these to replace my aging G-8 bulbs. I've tried replacing G-8 lightbulbs with LEDs, but those replacements were rubbish and burned out faster than incandescent bulbs. They are said to last 15,000 hours. Just take a look. They were very easy to install. I did not use double sided tape to mount the lights, preferring the screws provided. I know they won't let you down. I used the included double sided tape to secure the dimmer switches under the cabinets and the tape holds them in place well. Now I have 14 1 foot lamps illuminating my countertop and it looks like daylight. I would have preferred a warmer light, but LEDs tend to put out cool white light. I connected them to a switch and they all turn on at the same time with the switch. I wish the dimmer would remember where it was set the last time you turned it on, but they always turn on at full brightness. The light-to-light lead tails limited installation options, so I also bought a spool of wire, some flex tail connectors and heat shrink tubing and made custom length wires where the supplied ones didn't work. Overall I am very happy with the headlights. I'll be even happier if they last a few years as advertised, but only time will tell.
