Good that there is no plastic housing, but a weak spring.
The spring I got was nowhere near as strong as the stock spring. Luckily I bought this for a plastic cover to replace a broken one that was damaged during a tornado. They match the stock levers perfectly, but the plastic is a bit rough/cheap and had to be repainted to match. All in all, if you don't want to spend the weekend looking for replacement plastics in landfills, it's worth it. Personally, if you needed to replace your entire hand on an everyday driver, I'd look for a better quality option.
