Review on Xantrex 8080915 PROwatt Transfer Switch by Dan Tsourvakas

This is exactly the product I needed for my automatic drain pump backup battery. The box is of good quality with cables. They even add labels to the cables so you know where to attach them. I did not disassemble the thing, but everything indicates high quality. As soon as I plugged it in, I heard the switch click, knowing the power was on. When I pull the plug out of the wall, the switch drops off and the drain pump pumps from the inverter. It works perfectly. While not necessarily a cheap product, it does cost quite a bit. Good quality and this switch saved me hundreds of dollars on this DIY project. Small criticism: I wish the cables were an inch longer. I would like the male and female connectors to be activated to complete the setup (the green arrows in my included lockpick show where I added these connectors).
