The weather band does not receive any stations out of the box, but the other radio next to it receives 4 stations. Email KoZo requesting replacement, will let you know the response. on the + side. It puts out all the volume a small speaker can handle, it's loud. The battery is the smallest I've seen [1.25 x 1.5 x 1/8]. There is no mark on it. Don't expect a long game. It charges my phone at 500mA. All charge comes from the internal battery and not the handle. Disconnect the internal battery and the grip will not receive any charge for the mobile phone. The 3 AAA battery compartment is too small to accommodate batteries. You can push, pry, push and punch, but the battery won't go in. It's too narrow by about 1/16 inch. You are left with a tiny battery. I was pleasantly surprised by the sensitivity of this radio. On AM and FM it included many stations and even some shortwave stations during the day. The flash is bright, the siren is loud. Although the BB deserves a COFFIN - that's a AAA battery case. I will update you on KoZo's response. Update 3/11/19: The seller sent me a new radio and everything works great. Excellent customer service!
