This product is an improvement over the factory shocks which were marked 'Right' and 'Left' and are identical to the LS430. Mounted on the passenger side with little effort. Unfortunately, the threads on the driver's side bolt were so tight that even using a 12mm pipe with a lever was not enough to pull the bolt out before it broke. That's unnecessary *excess* Lexus tech. The new shock ended up working great for both of them. I mean, how often do you actually pop the hood on a Lexus?
