This mold is strong, compact and makes 4 bars of soap measuring 3 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/4 deep Customs service . They have a smooth, shiny silicone surface and fall out of shape easily. The mold is thick enough not to collapse when filled with soapy dough. Soap fits in standard size soap dishes. available from various suppliers. For a more standard 1 inch soap depth, simply pour less soap into the mold. Since it is silicone, you can safely use it for melting and pouring, cold process and hot process (oven process). Deformation or melting of the mold. It is easy to clean and lasts a long time. I wish I had bought a few of these when I first started making soap. The price might seem a bit steep at first, but you don't need a soap cutter, soap whisk, butcher paper for lining wooden molds, bread molds, or any other tools to fix imperfect trimming rods. I highly recommend these molds and plan to purchase more.
