Fine shapes / large size

I don't like tiny soaps. It is a good size to fit in your hand and USE. I made some glycerin soaps (add some essential oils and herbs) and some goat milk soap. Easy to get out of shape. Well done.

One of our most popular cold cut soap shapes

One of our most popular cold cut soap shapes. Crafters Choice makes the BEST shapes I swear with nice thick walls that hold their shape. This mold has clean corners and straight sides, which is exactly what we wanted for our soap making. We've tried a few other (cheaper) molds but keep coming back to the Crafters Choice molds because they're so well made. More expensive but better shape, no doubt.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • thin

Perfect size for a standard soap box

This mold is strong, compact and makes 4 bars of soap measuring 3 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/4 deep Customs service . They have a smooth, shiny silicone surface and fall out of shape easily. The mold is thick enough not to collapse when filled with soapy dough. Soap fits in standard size soap dishes. available from various suppliers. For a more standard 1 inch soap depth, simply pour less soap into the mold. Since it is silicone, you can safely use it for melting and pouring, cold process and hot…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
