Good product if you are careful
Overall these clips work well and go well with the velvet hangers in my closet. Thinner pieces are easier to cut than thicker pieces like denim or wool, but you can make it work. They don't seem to damage my clothes which is another plus (some metal hangers can be too tight and leave marks). Another thing I would like to point out is to be careful if you need to move the clips to a different position on the hanger. Don't move it over the velvet or it may scrape off part of it (see photo). To avoid this, you need to fully attach it to the hanger and reattach it elsewhere.
