Okay it's not as good as the ones we rent in hotel conference rooms but close. Luckily I'm 5'4" and 210lbs and can handle it like a man - I wouldn't recommend this for smaller women or people with hand/arm/shoulder issues. It's technically "portable" and I've driven it in the back of a truck where it sticks out about a foot because my Escalade has a short deck - a long deck would be fine. As a minor issue when wearing, there are 2 caps on the ends of the retractable end that pop out when worn and/or can be worn - actually I'm pretty sure they're long gone, but obviously they don't matter that it works, otherwise I would have noticed. Another small note is that you can't position the tripod very close to the wall due to the legs, which puts it about 2 feet from the wall. So plan ahead. can see over the head of the person in front of them. To be honest for the price maybe I should give 5 stars.
