Review on πŸ’‘ Enhance Your Space with the Light Adapter Antique Floor Socket by Adam Taylor

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Kind of cheap construction

This adapter does what it says on the tin, turning an antique-style pedestal lamp into a magnate that can use a regular incandescent bulb. It also doesn't add much height, which is good for cleaning lower blinds or shade harps. My problem is that the threaded metal sleeve that a standard lightbulb needs to screw into is cheap, installed askew in the block, and not very good. - thread. It is very difficult to screw the bulb straight and not over the threads into the socket every fight. You can't do this with the mogul socket screwed into the socket, I have to remove it completely from the lamp and carefully (and with some effort) screw the bulb in before swapping it for a lamp. It works, but it's cheaply made, so don't expect much.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
