Review on AKG K72 Pro Audio Studio Headphones in Matte Black – Over-Ear, Closed-Back Design for Superior Sound by Doyun Won ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The earphones are very pleasant in landing. Ears don't get tired. Bought in addition to Senhheiser HD202Pro. Senhi is certainly nicer and softer insulation is better. There is a compromise here. For example, AKG 81DJ have good insulation, but at the same time they press hard and after 20 minutes you want to take them off. These sound more suitable for studios, the sound is studio, surround. It's also very good for movies. In my opinion, the middle ones are not enough (and they are somehow blurry), the high frequencies are transmitted very clearly (with an excess of volume), the bass is also a bit lacking, or rather the bass seems to be insipid and dry (hard to describe). To be honest, my music sounds rather strange through these headphones, apparently complex scenes with reverb sound bad. I think that the ears are ideal for playing individual instruments. The cord is single, does not get tangled, the length is either 2.5 or 3 meters.

Pros
  • 1. Size 2. The quality of the material of the ear pads 3. Softness 4. Head coverage and fit 5. Very long cord
Cons
  • A little flat sound on electronic music, but maybe it's a feature >>>> Soundproofing is rather weak (but not too tight) There is no rigid adjustment of the arc height.
