Technically it works because it brews coffee and it's definitely pretty. However, it is pretty clear that this product was NEVER tested prior to production as the metal was exposed on the handle which conducts heat fairly well and makes it impossible to lift without the use of an oven mitt. You would think they could style this with a full silicone grip instead of a partial one. The lid handle is also made of metal and should not be touched during use. Unfortunately I will be returning this beautiful but ultimately impractical espresso machine.
