Review on The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Face Mask - Vegan, 2.6 Fl Oz by David Perry

It's okay, but not as natural as it seems through advertising

It would be helpful if amazon listed the ingredients in this. I have attached them here in a picture along with a picture of what the cream looks like. The directions were on the box and not the jar so if you throw the box away, you are out of luck. I've also attached a picture of that here in case directions would be helpful to someone. I think this does probably what one might expect from a mask - your face feels kind of refreshed afterward, although I suspect that is primarily from the menthol in the cream. After two weeks of use, I don't really notice any difference in my skin. I get the sense it is meant to just be an enjoyable thing for people to do - I'm not sure how much it really does much for the face beyond what a little cleanser and water and moisturizer would do. Also, just a heads up that if you look up the ingredients, this isn't exactly all natural. There is yellow 5, blue 1, PEG-100, and Limonene, as a few examples. Of course these are in small amounts, but none the less, it is important to be aware that despite The Body Shop's very natural/organic advertising, there are still ingredients that you should be aware of and if you are struggling with fertility issues, or being particularly cognizant of your overall toxicity load, you may wish to use something else. You can look the ingredients up on the Safe Cosmetic Databases where they are scored between 1-10 and these ingredients rank between 1-6.
