These are great straps but you have to put them in the right direction a quarter turn to get them on right. Slightly open the vacuum bag so that the motor is close to your body and the roller is in front of the wall, turn the belt 1/4 turn counterclockwise as you slide it over the motor shaft. (You already have a belt around the brush, in the grooves of which the brush roller is installed). YouTube may be available because if you don't install it properly, the belt will burn out. Be sure to remove any hair or debris surrounding the belt's "channel" on the motor shaft, or the belt will continue to slide until it snaps. Be careful not to scratch the metal motor shaft with a sharp tool. I burned a lot of perfect belts until I got everything right.
