I have very mixed feelings about this pot. I love that you have the option to use it for sautéing, steaming, and simmering. I love that there is a basket to put in while you cook the pasta so you can easily remove it without having to lift the whole pot when you want to drain the pasta. I love its shape and size which allows you to really fill it up when steaming, frying or cooking. And I love that I have a lid to use with it. And thankfully the inserts I received fit the lid well. I also like the heat resistant wooden handle which makes moving it around on our induction cooker (Custom) much easier and safer. BUT. And it's big, but the heat spread is small. I've found that I have to do a lot more twists when frying or frying. Steaming takes a little longer than usual, as does boiling pasta water, and it's bulky and takes up a lot of storage space. It's best to leave it on the bottom so you can put parts inside and cover it with a lid. Your mileage may vary based on frequency of use. And what you do I have a problem with pasta and I use this pan all the time. That alone makes him a guard in our house. I literally can't lift pots of boiling water and I'm sick of using smaller pots so you have to boil a few and then you can't quickly and easily drain the pasta. This one feature works so well for me that I kept it and somewhat overlooked its main problem with heat distribution (the bottom of the pot just isn't big enough to handle how much you put in the pot. I think a bigger bottom would help a lot with this problem.)
