Review on Wall Mounted Bracket Cylinder: Vestil CB W S - Convenient and Space-Saving Storage Solution! by Rick Vidaurri

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A flimsy strap worthy of an upgrade is still a surprisingly good deal.

Great suggestion for the mount itself, but straps suck. I use a few of these to attach different types of cylinders, there is no better option but be careful with the straps. The material is similar to what you'll find on this special $3 Jansport copy, but weaker. Any slight damage to the edge of the strap will quickly spread and the strap will break when tightened. I would still buy more of these and plan to, but would happily pay the extra $5 to have them come with the correct strap material. It looks like cheap polyester and if it is, it will likely degrade quickly in the sun (TBC). The bracket could probably support a thousand pounds; I doubt the strap will last up to 100. Because it runs through the slots and behind the bracket, the strap is very difficult to replace once everything is installed. On the plus side, the buckles are actually pretty good. They bite well and stay secure (although teeth can snap through an already inferior strap). I still recommend buying this from Vestil, as well as a couple of cylinder mounts, but save time later and sew on a heavy duty nylon strap to replace the included strap. .

Pros
  • Cylinder strap secures cylinder to mount
Cons
  • Not sure
