I may not sound like an environmentalist, but I hate washing up. I get these things when I subscribe and save, it cuts down on dishwashing completely. But again, it saves water and electricity, so maybe I got something. The panels are pretty strong - you can fold them in half if you're paranoid. I don't know what else to say about these records. They're papery and have some kind of coating to keep splatter and grease from getting in as easily. They hold up well in the microwave, but probably not in the dishwasher (but that's the point). And they serve as chew toys for my dog if I forget to throw them away (not recommended).
