Review on πŸ“» Retevis RT20 Mini Walkie Talkies - Adults Two Way Radio, Small 16 Channel Hands-Free Lightweight Design with Lanyard (Silver, 1 Pack) by Peter Caw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Programming cable is sold separately, factory frequencies are marked by FRS.

Great little (really little) radio for the price. The speaker is very loud / FM radio works fine. The radio had a lanyard and was designed to be worn around the neck. In this respect, I would prefer the lanyard attachment to be on the bottom and the cable slots on the top, i.e. hanging upside down. If you pick it up while it's hanging around your neck, it's already in the right position. Due to the small size of the radio, a front PTT was a good choice; They treat it more like a small TV remote than a regular two-way walkie-talkie. The single headset jack is 2.5mm in diameter, not 3.5mm. I can't tell if it's TRS or TRRS. The battery is not replaceable (it is soldered), but for such a small radio I don't find that a problem. According to an email from Retevis, the included USB-C cable is only for charging and not for programming; The USB-C programming cable must be purchased separately. (The programming cable looks like a regular Baofeng programming cable, except for the USB-C connector at the end of the radio.) You can download the programming software and programming cable driver for this radio from Retevis website. both seem to work fine.
