The headband is very soft. Suitable for my 3 month old and I was nervous this wasn't going to happen as he says the recommended age is 2 years old. However, given the seams, I have a feeling they will tear if stretched more. 3 out of 8 came loose when I checked by stretching them a bit. I'm pretty sure one of them broke when I put it on my 3 month old daughter's head (if she didn't already). I have posted pictures for reference. As already mentioned, the material is very soft. I was afraid it would look like fleece from what I saw through the bag. I decided to open it up and see where they are. They are supplied individually sealed. Then put them together in a large clear bag. THEN also in a locked company bag. Well protected. I would rate them 5 stars but since I have to sew them myself I'm giving them 3 stars. Good price. In general, the tailoring is not the best
