I love this tatami. It's so soft and fluffy, it's big enough and perfect for my dogs and I to relax. Sometimes we sleep on it. Although it's a little thin, maybe an inch or so thick, it offers plenty of padding and comfort. Due to the thinness of this tatami, it is very easy to fold and move. The coolness of this carpet is also wonderful. You put your feet on it and suddenly you feel your feet touching the cool sand of the beach. It is great. I use this mat under Shikibuton and indeed my back problems are gone. I'd say it's a combination of sleeping on the floor and my chiropractor, so hello to him. I sleep well on this mat and am very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend.
