High-quality, rich sound at an affordable price. Koss makes a premium product (I also have a PortaPro). I recommend it. They sound better than other headphones I've had for a lot of money. Rubber liners are another reason they're a winner. They kill outside noise. They are very comfortable, soft and strong enough to stay in your ear. I just returned a set of bass boosted phones from a major brand. This product just blows them away. With these Koss you get an excellent product for less than $50. The downsides are minor. The headphone plug sticks out straight (not at a 90° angle), which can tear the cable. But they come with a limited lifetime warranty, if that happens I'll send them in for replacement or repair. The microphone control has three buttons. Only the middle one works on my Android but the other three work on my iPhone.
