Mine arrived on January 25th 2021 and I ordered a second one after unboxing. I ordered it to put next to my monitor for my MBP but it was used for a different purpose. We like to watch TV and use our iPads in the evenings, which have taken up a lot of space on the side table. between our chairs, not to mention spilled drinks. This laptop stand fits our devices even with cases. One slot holds our two iPhones and the other slots hold an iPad Pro. Each side of the stand is independently controlled by a pivoting thumbscrew for expansion and contraction, another thoughtful feature. The weight is solid and it's a classy brushed metal finish that looks like my MacBooks. Reviewers have complained in the past that the rubber doesn't reach all the way to the top, but I had the gray rubber in 3 sections, each going all the way to the top. Holding area which I hope you can see in the photo. I've also read some critical reviews that mentioned fan issues, but this clamshell stand doesn't have a fan. He is incapable of anything. I would definitely order this as a gift for someone with more than two mobile devices - it's that good!
