Terribly unsafe product

I am a licensed Jersey Electrician. installed this in my project car which caused big problems and 8V voltage drop on this product. My alternator ran at full field to compensate for the drop. I measured 21 volts on the line side of this unit, then I measured the load side and got 12 volts.
