Review on Cooler Master MasterBox TD500: 3D Diamond-Cut Design, Mesh Front Intake Vents, Transparent Panel, 3x120mm RGB Fans & RGB Lighting by Bryan Sperling

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very nice case, looks great

Plus points: - Appearance - Mesh front panel - Separate compartment for the power supply unit - Many passages and eyelets for cables - Sufficient equipment - Price compared to similar designs - 3 x 120mm RGB+ controller included. Rugged and rugged case for a "budget" case. Great cooling options. -fan pictured) CONS: -Only the 2 front USB HDD bays are screwed and riveted -should be removable The bottom isn't nearly deep enough to run the cable. It's a real struggle requiring a 3rd or 4th Hand required to install the metal plate properly. features, looks and price. It was a fairly simple build, but I used a Seasonic 650W semi-modular power supply, which isn't very deep. This left me some space behind the PSU for cable management and I only needed 1 modular section of it. So it wasn't difficult to install everything and get all the details you see in order. I like the offset top of the duct, which also made it easier to mount the 360mm radar on top. I didn't have any of the issues I often see in reviews such as: B. Transport damage or missing hardware. The biggest problem/difficulty was laying the cables. Case offers great opportunities to make beautiful the area you see. Terrible options to hide/redirect/manage what you want to hide. The hard drive bay's permanently attached "wall" prevents excess power cables from entering. The overall bandage/storage space for an unused length of cable is very, very shallow, and even the smallest cable runs and SSD connectors push against the back/right side of the case, making something like this difficult to close or accidentally detach RGB. 3-pin fan connector. I used braided white extensions and combs to look pretty. But that meant I was actually managing every bit of power cord behind the phone tray, and I just didn't have the space to do it well. About an inch lower on the right for cable routing would be ideal. Can (obviously) be used as is, but if you removed both side panels from my build you would look to one side and say "wow, how neatly put together" and then look to the other side and ask " What happened? ? "

Pros
  • understandable even in the old
Cons
  • sad packaging
