These are heavy duty well made shears that seem to last a long time and need sharpening many times. heavy duty scissors, although I can handle them, I see any person with weakened strength, arthritis, or other wrist, hand, or finger issues struggle with them. Second, the thumb and thumb holes are smaller. I have big hands for a woman so a lot of people will think they're just right, but to me they would be useless if they were smaller. Overall I'm happy with the scissors for me, but would like to list potential issues for others.
