I got these adapters because the world is changing so electronics are now using USB Type C but so many peripherals and power supplies are using USB Type A. I have used these adapters to connect a small desktop mini fan that runs on USB power (with Type A connection) to power it from a power adapter that only has USB Type CI Do not attempt to use these adapters with peripheral devices that transfer data. Instead, I've only used them occasionally where devices were being powered or charged. In these use cases, these adapters work just fine and appear to be of good build quality.
