I have never used vinyl to date but I can say it was fairly easy and painless. I only did one tail light because I didn't have time for the rest. You will need a heat gun, a vinyl squeegee, a razor, and a spray bottle of water. One light lasted about an hour and it's not ideal. There are still small bubbles and a few creases on the edges. I think this is due to my inexperience. I hope the bells and whistles come out but if not I will be buying this product again. I'm giving 4 stars because I've noticed that the material has a few scratches that aren't noticeable, but they are there. Definitely worth buying.
