Review on Dorman 520 169 Control Arm by Avery Sharma

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Hit or miss good for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

I bought the driver's side and couldn't be happier, it smelled new, very well finished. The ball joint had a grease bush and could be lubricated several times. Anyway, having bought the passenger side, it's obvious that it has been restored, due to the abrasion marks and the fact that they didn't even take the time to clean it of grease and dirt. Now none of this would bother me, but they put a cheap ball joint on it that didn't have a grease ring, so after the grease ran out, the arm was no longer good, disposable, so to speak. Now I bought them both from the same WTF dealer! And when I contacted Revane about this they just said how sorry they are and I need to speak to the gun manufacturer and see what they can do. Now remember that Revain sold her for the company and had to support her. When Revain let me down for the first time, I must add that I am very disappointed! I tried to contact the Doram company, I think that was it, but their email says it's not compatible with my PC? SO yes if you are lucky you will get a great product, if not lucky if it works. So now I'm stuck mixing the good with the bad because it has to be done, I can only hope the cheap holds up.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
