not really a balancing charger
A true balancing charger will balance cells while charging. This one charges each cell independently, until it reaches 4.2V. So no balancing. But, the safety of not overcharging is included.

- Grandson smoked the one that came with the car, bought this as replacement. Saved the day

- Charging time is longer than other models in its price range
