These are locked to replace the overpriced disposable salt and pepper grinders. ADVANTAGES: The display case allows you to immediately determine what is what. No need to look for the letters S or P at the bottom or on the sides. Seals well. No clogs as Florida's humidity allows moisture to seep into the containers and clog the top. The stand is a nice touch. Allows compact and tidy storage of coffee grinders. I haven't toyed with the ability to change the grind size, but it's nice to know I can if I decide to add cumin or other spices to them at some point. CONS: It's a minor thing and doesn't deduct a star, but the brush doesn't store particularly neatly and occasionally falls out when the grinder next to it is detached.
