BIG DESIGN CHANGE from the original See 'n Say. There's no longer a pretty ring at the end of the cord to grab onto with your pinky, but now there's a slippery pick that's difficult to hold on to. The cable itself is about half the length and pulls out 3 times harder. My daughter is physically unable to pull the umbilical cord hard enough to speak; It's like watching her try to change the belt on a washing machine. After seeing me doing it and struggling with it herself for about 5 minutes, she cried out in frustration and hasn't touched it since. I would send it back but I threw away the packaging. I don't think they tested this product on the market before selling it because they might put it in every kid's hands and find that kids are not strong enough to control it. The only reason I'm giving no stars is because she enjoys watching me play with her.
