I'M GOING TODAY FOR THIS ARMOR! Edit update: I fell. hard. He received a severe blow to his back and head. The rear armor took all of that and saved my fat. It hurt a little but the jacket was mangled and the helmet worn out/decommissioned. I hit a patch of gravel in the chicane at 40mph and hit the curb high. My spine takes the heaviest hits. I came out of the accident with a broken rib, headache, a mild rash and aching joints. but damn it works! . I highly recommend this armor! However, I also strongly recommend not driving like a noob idiot. Lesson learned. A great upgrade for my AlpineStars T-GP Plus R Air Jacket, it's much stiffer but still lets in as much air as a traditional cheap foam back pad. This upgrade is also slightly smaller than the standard foam (by an inch or two) but still fits great. Highly recommend this if you value your spinal cord. It covers 90% of my spine, more at the base of my neck. The lower back is still exposed so you may need armored shorts to fill the gap.
