Beware of phantom power via TRRS
This microphone requires phantom power but does not use a battery like others. Power is expected to come from the TRRS cable that you connect to the camera, phone, etc. I've tried three cameras, a laptop and a phone, none of which offer phantom power. This mic looks good, but if you don't know your device supplies power, don't buy it.
