Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Ice 225/60 R16 98S winter by Ada Szewczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Satisfied with the purchase one hundred percent, I recommend the product for everyone.

Traveling on these tires 22 thousand miles and 2 seasons on an all-wheel drive Tiguan. I didn't pursue the location of manufacture of the tires particularly; they were made in Japan on week 15, 2022. Size 225/60 R17. Impressions have grown at this time. The Japanese proved to be a reliable and well-rounded product in terms of traits. I'm quite happy with the rubber's suppleness and general sonic comfort. Excellent grip on smooth pavement, practically identical to summer tires; there is a tiny roll as a result of a very soft sidewall. It performs well in slush and snow, and it held up for me in the winter forest. Snow rolls confidently and quickly by; at first, it seemed a little spiky, but I eventually grew accustomed to it. On clear ice and ice, a spike would be better over a friction clutch because you shouldn't expect any exceptional miracles from such coatings. This tire can get you everywhere, though, if you drive carefully. It is forgiving of many errors, and a slip into a skid happens reliably, although it is best to avoid it altogether. Wear is minimal after two seasons: remaining 7.5 mm of tread I've been riding friction wheels for 12 years, and although I've tried hakku (R2, R3) and earlier blizzak versions (revo 2, vrx), I think the Japanese now produce the best non-studded on the market. Naturally, the price has now traveled into outer space, but it is wiser to not skimp on safety. highly advisable

Pros
  • Quietness, dependability, comfort, and durability
Cons
  • Price, ice traction, and ice
