I have fitted it to a new fixture. I modified the light to include a special dimmer. This way I can tune the Edison style LED bulbs to get the brightness I want. I used a Westek 6077B 200 watt handheld triac dimmer that I bought from Revain for about $6. The lamps flicker a little when dimmed, but then get brighter and look perfect. The color of these lamps is very good. At around 50% brightness, this is a very pleasing color that I find to be in the 3000-3500K range. It's almost perfect for our regular dining room. And at full brightness they are probably over 4000K and very bright. This should be good for cleaning and other occasions when we need a lot of light. The double scroll elements are very attractive both on and off. When switched on, the reflection from the lamp's glass makes the elements look more like coiled wire. This is a great vintage look. EDIT: One of the bulbs in the kit I received was broken. I contacted the seller and they promptly sent me a whole different box of lightbulbs. It was very generous. They are wonderful people and I will buy more lightbulbs from them in the future.
