After I posted my comment the company contacted me to send me a replacement due to poor microphone quality. The replacement mic works fine so I've added a star for service and a working mic. I was under the impression that the vendor had a known issue with the mic so hopefully they will address it broadly but if you get a bad mic feel free to let them know. They seem pretty good at replacing defective products. Full disclosure, I got them for free as a tester. Unpacking feels very light, which is nice for convenience, but the lid feels cheap. The lid opens easily and closes well, but it looks like it will break easily. The magnets hold the buds firmly enough that they won't fall out, but they're easy to take out of the box. The buds turn on when you open the lid, so I'm not sure what happens when that lid comes off. I don't usually find these types of headphones comfortable, but they held up surprisingly well. I didn't feel them slip off while chewing either. If you find the touch controls frustrating, you'll love that they are physical buttons and easy to use. It switches seamlessly from single to dual functionality and vice versa. Control: 1 Press any key: play and pause, answer or end call. Long press any key: Reject call. Left long press: Previous song or about 30 seconds back in Audible. Long press right: next song or fast forward about 30 seconds in Audible If you only use one it just moves forward. Double tap activates or deactivates the digital assistant. Siri is specifically mentioned in the instructions, but Google works too. They don't control the volume. I don't know why so few headphones can control volume as well as forward/backward. The battery lasts about 4.5 hours of music playback, after which you can charge it with a micro-USB charging case. If you're an audiophile you'll be disappointed, but if you're an audiophile you probably won't buy a $30 headset. I found the sound perfect for listening to an audio book. The call quality on your end sounds good, but the person on the other end said the background noise is very distorted and difficult to hear. If that's an issue, a long press on either earphone during a call will transmit audio to your phone.
