technical assistance for cycling

Hello friends Good afternoon, I am happy to greet you, I would like to know if you can help me. I have a 2013 RZ120 One Twenty 2. It comes with the specs described here (Shimano M552 with 42x32x24 plates mounted on a narrow Cannondale bottom bracket, only 68mm wide. 10 crown rear with Shimano derailleur and SLX derailleur buttons and Deore XT rear derailleur). I recently bought a Shimano Deore LX T671 48t 104mm 10 - stepped faceplate. when installed, it gives me problems when shifting, since it does not involve speed, it rubs the chain in front of the switch. apparently the curve of the same is not very pronounced and the path of the same is also short, which disturbs the normal movement of the chain and the mesh change. My question. Should I change the derailleur? If so, what would be ideal for this 48T cymbal to work properly? Thank you in advance for your valuable help.

Pros
  • Stable results when testing
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
