I wanted a thinner and more durable backpack with enough space for my laptop, documents and stationery. That's exactly what I got. The bag has some smart features, but some of the design elements are poorly thought out. The second compartment (the one without the laptop) has enough space, but I had to work on the design. The center pen box looks like it came with the bag, but I actually had to buy it separately. There are a few pockets here, but their design mostly renders them useless. Most of the additional compartment is occupied by a large compartment closed by a mesh that opens with a zipper a third of the way from the top. This space would be perfect for an accordion binder or modular shelving system. The lazy design feels like nothing more than a drawstring bag. I had to work around that. The main compartment, on the other hand, is excellent. I keep my documents in a separate folder (third picture, not included) and it fits comfortably next to my laptop. To make it easier to find documents in this area, the designers added a pull tab that attaches to a piece of fabric located at the bottom of the compartment. I tried to show it in the third photo. Basically, you don't have to put your fingers in your pocket to get what you put in there. Simply pull the pull tab and your items will be taken with you. It works very well once you get used to it. Finally, the build quality is excellent. The bag is reinforced with hard plastic at any desired point. The main compartment has a magnetic closure reinforced with a very nice metal hook (pictured). The top handle is sewn firmly to the bag and I often carry the bag as a briefcase. The padding makes it comfortable. Although I never use it, there is a loop on the back for attaching other luggage. It is great. Could have been better, but I'm very satisfied.
