I was a little surprised at the level of 'Stabilizer', a paper similar to industrial grade paper towels. I've only used this on a straight stitch to protect the material I'm sewing on from the machine feed dog and it hasn't actually torn. I had to pull it out of the seams with tweezers, even resort to wetting, and it was still difficult to remove. "Tearaway" suggests that it can be used just as successfully as other brands (back to Sulky), otherwise the point of such a product is lost. Only use it as a stabilizer from below and then where it is not visible.
