I've been using the same makeup bag in my purse for years and it was quite worn out. I wanted to find a new bag but finding just the right size was a challenge. This bag is great--it is the same L and W dimensions as my old bag, but the improvement was the area of the BASE of the bag is larger than my old, which really had no base to it. This allows the bag to hold quite a bit more makeup than my previous one. I don't have to squeeze everything in there so it doesn't strain the zipper. My only complaint is zipper related. The large teeth get stuck if you try to unzip or zip it quickly so just take a little care when zipping it. I received the bag in purple and the material looks easy to clean, attractive, and true-to-image in color.
