I do not write many reviews, but this bag deserved it! When I went on the search for a makeup bag, I had a few requirements that made me feel like Goldilocks: not too big, not to small, nice looking but not expensive, something pretty and easy to spot in my purse, but not super flashy. I specifically wanted a bag that zipped in this fashion, easy to access and see the contents of the bag quickly instead of digging around in the dark. After more than enough searching, my boyfriend actually pointed this one out from a sea of small bags. I received it promptly.Its incredibly well packaged, in its own dust bag (which immediately went into my suitcase for future use) and plastic to prevent the pull tab from scratching before use. Although the pouch is nylon, the material feels durable and of good quality, inside and out, and the labels are real leather. I was surprised to find the unexpected bonus of an interior zipper pouch that was actually big enough to use! It is also stitched really well, with no loose ends. I marveled at this bag, I honestly didn't expect the quality to be half as good as it truly is. A nice bonus is that the color is actually true to the picture. The information packet that came with it was informative and gave great tips to keep the bag looking nice long term. It also encouraged the buyer to write a review to improve their products and promote their small business which I happily did. I will definitely be a returning customer! **The one thing I did notice was the slider body of the zipper was plastic (color still matched the rest of the metal zipper). It stands out against the over-the-top quality of the bag, but only because they went above and beyond in EVERY other category. I am concerned it might not last as long as the rest of the bag, but we will see. This is a VERY picky and perhaps unimportant observation, and they have to keep the costs down somehow. Overall, does not detract from the bag and I still feel like I got my money's worth.
