I bought them in moss green. I have a huge east facing window and there are no buildings nearby, so my room turns into a greenhouse at sunrise. In the summer, I wake up every morning on the surface of the sun. Those curtains don't completely black out, but now my room is much cozier and cooler than it was on the observation deck. I hope they also mitigate the midwest winter a little (I've never been one to put away plastic). I bought these because I wanted something I could attach to my shower curtain rod and not have to fiddle with any tools. I personally love the casual look of ties, but you might mind if you want them to look classy. The material is shinier than I expected but I managed.
