Review on 🔒 Kryptonite New York Standard Heavy-Duty U Lock for Bicycles - Bike Security Lock by Tim Hodzic

This product has been working properly for about 6 months. Then it started raining, the stainless steel lock rusted, and now it takes me 5 minutes and a lot of strength to pull it out of the nest. Extremely disappointed. The rust doesn't show up very well because I try to wash off as much as possible, but the stains are still there. I do not recommend this product to others. This will be the last kryptonite lock I will buy. Although this is one of the few 16mm locks on the market, I would have preferred the 13mm locks which are less secure but don't take 20 minutes to lock. On the other hand, my bike has never been stolen from me. Rating up to 1 star. The locking mechanism is broken and almost doesn't work. I managed to get this piece of junk working by ripping at it for about a week, but after literally taking 30 minutes to unlock my bike(?) I was done with it. Don't buy this if it never rains in the area you live. And no sand. Just don't buy. It's garbage.
