Review on Capresso Mini Drip Coffee Maker - 5-Cup, Black & Stainless Steel by Amy Smith

This is a well-made product with a thoughtful design. I have purchased Capresso products before and have never been disappointed. I don't know why this excellent mini coffee maker is so understated and understated when it's so functional. It's small, however, and is best suited for kitchens with limited space or little overhead space, or simply with less brewing needs. a lot of coffee. It is advertised as having a 5 cup capacity but this appears to be a European measurement rather than a larger American cup size. I estimate it will make 3-4 large cups of coffee. What I like most about this product: - brews hot - easy to program for timed brewing - the water level indicator is a white graduated hard plastic indicator in the water reservoir; easy to read, no external bubble gauge which I found harder to read and prone to getting stuck or even moldy - manufacturer's front LCD panel for current time and future brew setting is easy to read, large black print; The on/off/brew light, while small, is a distinctly light green color - the product construction is solid, although the premium carafe is a bit fragile, but with careful handling it should remain functional.
