So we had problems at camp because when we left the RV to visit the campsite we left our dog on the deck. Unbeknownst to us, he kept barking while we were gone. Our neighbors complained and we were told that we would either have to get a collar or our dog would not be allowed into the camp. After reading many reviews we decided on this collar. It only took our dog a day to sort the collar and now he's dead quiet in storage. Now he doesn't even have to wear a collar all the time because he doesn't realize he's wearing one! I love that the collar is rechargeable and the interchangeable faceplates are cute! For reference we have a 1 year old English Labrador that weighs 90 pounds. Also as a note, our dog didn't respond to vibrations, only the beep/slap. I also like that the collar beeps before the shock because it quickly understands what the beeps mean and stops barking immediately.
